Check-ins prove you're still active. As long as you keep checking in, nothing happens. If you stop, guardians know something might be wrong.
Time: ~2 minutes every 90 days (or your chosen interval).
How to Check In
Get reminder
Notifications as deadline approaches.
Open Ante
Go to your vault.
Tap "Check In"
One button, sign with wallet.
Done
Timer resets. Protected again.
Choosing Your Interval
30-60 days
Faster response, more frequent. Good for active traders.
90 days (recommended)
Good balance. Quarterly check-in.
180 days
Less maintenance, slower response. Good for long-term holders.
If You Miss a Check-in
Missing doesn't immediately transfer assets. Multiple safeguards:
1. Overdue - You get notifications. Guardians alerted. Check in anytime to reset.
2. Voting - If still inactive, guardians can vote. Check in to cancel.
3. Grace Period - Even after approval, you have up to 6 months to cancel (configurable).
Only after all this do assets transfer.

Don't rely only on app notifications.
Check in early
Don't wait until deadline. Reset anytime.
Have backup access
Access wallet from multiple devices.
Extended travel? Check in before you leave, or temporarily extend your interval.
